PET taming – global circular solution in the making

For over a year now we are working with Mattoni on a project with an ambitious goal – to create a revolutionary circular system of PET bottles and other beverage packaging processing that could work across Europe and potentially across the world while offering maximum flexibility. We aim to create a system that ensures that PET bottles are – in line with the EU legislation – put back into circulation in the maximum volume possible and reused. Instead of ending up in incinerators or trashed in nature, the recycled material will be meaningfully reused to produce new beverage packaging. Our role is to design this innovative system in cooperation with the customers and verify its potential from the user, technological, safety, economic and procedural point of view.
